that is to be done is to take the Medicino and to go

Pnunlo Medicine. ■
Dr. Townsend's Sarsaparilla is a sovereign and speedy
cure for Incipient Consumption, barrenness, Prolapsus
Uteri, or Falling of tho Womb, Costivonoss. Tiles, Lea-
corrbrcn, or Whites, obstructed or difficult ftlonstrua-
lion. Incontinence of Urine, or involuntary dischargo
thereof, ami for tho gonr.ral prostration of tho system-
no matter whether the result of inherent cause or causes,
produced by irregularity, illness or accident. Nothing
cun bo more surprising than it* invigorating effects
on the human frame. Persons all weakness and lassi
tude. from takiur It. at once become robust and full of
energy under iu influcnce. It immediately counteracts
ths nervolcssnessof the female frame, which is the great
cniiso ol barrenness. It will not be expected of us, in
cases of so delicate a nature, to exhibit certificates of
cures performed but we can assure the afflicted, that
hundreds of c:i*c* have bnen roported to us. Thousands
of case* where families liavo been without children,
after using a few bottles of this invaluable medicine,
have boon blessed with fine, healthy offspring.
To Mothers nnd Married Ijadies.
This Extract orSarsnimrilla has been expressly pre-
pared in reference to female complaint*. No female
who has reason to suppose *lie is approaching that
critical period, " The turn of life," should neglect to
take it, as it is n certain preventive for nny of the
numerous and horrible diseases to which feinnles are
subject at tills time of life. This period may be de
layed for several yean by using thi* medicine. Nor
is it less valuable fur those who nro approaching wo
manhood, ns it is calculated to assist nature, by quick
ening the blood and invigorating the system. Indeed,
this medicine i* invaluable for all the delicate disea
ses to which women are subject
It braces the whole system, renews pt rtnanontiy the
natural cnergia*, by removing the imp.u-itics of ths
body, uot so far stimulating as to produce subsequent
relaxation, which is the ea»e of most medicines taken for
femalu weakness and disease, by using a few bottles of
this medicine, many severs tsd painful surgical opera
tions may be prevented.
Grout Blessing to Mothers nnd Children.
It is tho safest and most effectual medicine for purity*
ing the system, nnd relieving the suffering* attendant
opnn child-birth ever discovered. It strengthen* both
tho mother aud child, prevent* pain and disease, in-
crease* aud enriches the food, those who have used it
think it is Indispensable. It is highly useful both before
and after confinement, n* it prevents diseases attendant
upon childbirth—in Costivonoss, Piles, Cramps, Swell
ing of thn Feet, Despondency, Heartburn, Vomiting,
ruin in the back and Loins, Fulao Pains, Hemorrhage,
and in regulating the secretions and equalizing the cir
culation it lias no cquul. Tho great beauty of this
medicluc is, U i* always safe, and tho most delicate use
it most successfully, very few cases require any other
medicine, In lomn a little Castor Oil, or Magnesia, is
useful. Exercise in tho open air, and light food with
this medicine, will always cusuro a safe aud easy con
finement.
Vtcnuty nnd IVcnltb.
Cosmetic*, Chalk, and a variety of preparations gene-
rally in use, when applied to the face, very soon spoil it
of its beauty. They close the pore* of tho skin, nnd
check the. circulation, which, when nnture is not thwart
ed by disease or powder, or the sltin iiiflnmed by the
alkalies used in soaps, beautifies its own production in
tli.s -human face Divine,’’ as well ns in the garden of
rich nnd delicately tinted nnd variegated flowers. A
free, active ami healthy circulation of the fluids, or the
coursing ufllie pure, rich blood to the extremities, is
lliat which paints the cauntcnunco in the most cxnui-
site hcauly. It is that which imparts the indescribable
shades and flashes of loveliness that all admire, but
none can doscribo. This beauty fs tho offspring of na
ture—not of powder or soap. If there is not a free nnd
healthy circulation, there is no beauty. If tho lady is
fair as driven snow, if she paint, and uso cosmetics,
snd the blood is illicit, cold ami impure, she is not beau
tiful. If she be brown or yellow, nnd thero is pure nnd
active blood, it gives a rich bloom to tho chocks, and a
brilliancy to tlicir eyes llmt is fascinating.
This is why the southern, und especially thn Span
ish Indies, are so much admired. Ladle* in the north
who tnko but little exercise, or are confined in close
rooms, or have spoiled their complexion by the appli
cation of deleterious mixture?, 'f «I>«v wUh to re.
. if they wish to re
nin elasticity of step, buoyant spirits, sparkling eyes
and boautiful complexions, they should use Dr. Town-
scud’s Sarsaparilla. Thousands who have tried it, are
more than satisfied, arc delighted. Ladies of every
itutiou, crowd our office daily.
Notice to tlic lindicn.
Tho«e that imitate Dr. Townsend's Sarsaparilla, have
Invariably called their ?tuff a great Remedy far Fe
males, Jee... See... und have copied mir bills aud circular*
which rclutos to tho complaints of women, word for word
-other men who put up medicino, have, since the great
success of Dr. Townsend’* Suranparilia in complaint*
incident to females, recommended theirs, although pre
viously they did not. A number of these Mixtures, Pill?,
See., are injurious to females, as they aggravate disense,
ami undermine tho constitution. Dr. Townsend’* is the
only nnd best remedy for the numerous female com
plaint?—it rarely, if ever fail* of effecting n permanent
cure. It can bo taken by tho moil delicate females,
in any cuoe, or by those expecting to become mothers,
with the greatest advantage*, a* it prepares tho system
and prevents pain or danger, mid strengthens both
mother and child. Ho enroful to got the genuine.
