CANCEROUS ULCER CURED, OF 8EVEN YEARS’ STANDING.
This cure was effected in July, IB44; there have been no symptoms of a return,
and her health still continues good, July, 1618.
New York, July S3, 1644.
Messrs. 8*nps:—Gentlemen—I consider it but nn act of justice to you to state the
following fuels in reference to the great benefit I hare received in the cure of an ob-
stinuto Cancerous Ulcer on my breast.
I w as atteuded eightvien months by a regular and skilful physician, Assisted by the
advice nnd counscf of one of our most able and experienced surgeons, without the
least benefit whatever. All tho various methods uf treating cancer were resorted to;
for Avo weeks iu succession my breast wus burned with caustic three times a-day,
and for six it was daily syringed with a weak solution of nitric ackl, tmd the cavity or
—-- - rg e tl» ** '-* - * -**—
internal ulcer was so large that it held over an ounce of the solution. The doctor
probed the ulcer and examined tho bone, and said the disease was advancing rapidly
to tho lungs, and if 1 did not get speedy relief by medicine or an operation, the result
would be ratal. 1 was advised lo have the breas\ lnid open and the bones examined \
but finding no relief from what had been done, and feeling 1 was rapidly getting worse,
I almost despaired of recovery, and considered my case nearly hopeless.
Seeing various testimonials ami certificates of cure by the use of Sands* Sarsapa
rilla, in cates similar to my own, 1 concluded to try a few bottles, several of which
were used, but, from the long deep-seated character of my disease, produced no very
decided change. Considering this ns the only probable euro for my case, I persevered
until the disease was entirely cured. It is now over eleven months since tho cure
was completed; thero is not the slightest appearance of a return. Itherefore pro
nounce myself WELL, and the cure entirely effected by Sands’ SaBsaparilla, as l took
no other midicint of uny kind during the time I was using it, nor have / taken any since.
Pleusc excuse this lung deferred acknowledgment, which I think it my duty to
moke. Your valuable Sarsaparilla cured me, with the blessing of Divine Providence,
when nothing else could; and I feel myself under lasting obligations to you. I can
say many things I cannot write, and 1 'do must respectfully invite ladies afflicted as I
have been, to call upon me. and I will satisfy them fully of the truth as stated above,
and many other tilings In reference to the case.

LIVER COMPLAINT.
The following is an extract from a letter received from Rev. William Galusha:—
„ Berkshire, Vt., Oct. 22, 1843.
Messrs. Sands I have been afflicted with a snrere pain in my side, occasioned
by a diseased liver, for Ike Inst twenty years ; suffering at times what language can
not convey; but since taking your Sarsaparilla 1 have been greatly relieved, so much
so that I havo been uble to attend to inv business, ami preach occasionally, for the
last fifteen months. 1 wholly discarded ull other medicine, nnd thoroughly tried the
Sarsaparilla, which I can recommend in truth and sincerity to all those who aro in
any way afflicted with nny species of scrofulous complaints. There have been some
remarkable cures effected by its use in Ibis vicinity. Mrs. I. Shaw, by the use of six
bottles, was restored to better health tliur. she mid before enjoyed for ten years; and
Mrs. W. Stevens, who had been severely afflicted with Erysipelas, was entirely cured
by the use of a few bottles. " Yours truly,' * WM. GAL
CURE OF A SCROFULOUS AFFECTION OF THE EYE$.
South Kingston, R. /., October II, 1847.
Messrs. Sands Gentlemen—My little daughter, when one year old, was attacked
with a scrofulous humor on her face, which soon after extended into her eyes, causing
almost total blindness in one of them, and disfiguring her wholo fucc. I employed
two physicians to attend her, w ho exhausted their utmost skill to give her relief, out
it all proved useless, and finally one of them remarked to me that he had known of
some striking cures effected by Sands’ Sursuparilla, and advised me to try it. I ob
tained one bottle, which she commenced using, and before it was all used up it had
effected an entire cure. It is now over four years since she was cured, and there has
been no reappearance of tho disease, and we nro satisfied that it is a perfect cure.
It gives me great pleasure to add that I can recommend it to every sufferer from any
