T HIS establishment commenced opera
tions for tho season, tho beginning of
this month, and having beat ull tho old Rico
on hand is now in complcto order for the re
ception of tho now crop, having plenty of

mill will wo kept going night and day us soon
as tho supply will warrant it—It is now ascer
tained that from 80 to 109 barrels can he
cleaned in tho 24 hours “tho engino ami ma
chinery being first rule” so that planters
sendingrico to this mill may calculate within
a few Jays when they cun receive it ready fur
market. The mill will furnish burrels when
ever required at b7V cents each, and will laud
rough rice from the (leek of vessels at J a ct. per
bushel. The proprietors have erected on tho
premises a range of very secure and lire proof

tinued so to do for several days in succession,
and on the 14th ofthc same "month was con-
lined to my bed, whore I lay for two months
until i was reduced lo such a state of debility,
that my friends began to despair of iny recove
ry. I had made use also of all tho popular
remedies without benefit, and havingaccideti-
tally heard of this Specific,! determined lo
give it n trial, anticipating from the use of it,
no better result than had attended tho uso of
all the remedies I had taken; hut in this I was
happily disappointed. At iny very lowest
state I commenced tho use of this Specilic.—
I took the first dose at night in a little hcTb tea,
sweetened, which threw mo in a gentle per
spiration and procured for mo a good nfoht's
rest. I continued to take tho medicine us di
rected, and in about five duys mv cough was
completely stopped and have not had any re
