B E it enacted by tho Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Geor gia in General Assembly met, and it is here by enacted by the authority of the same, That eveiy person who was a tortnnato drawer in the land lotteries by the authority of the acts paRscdontho fifteenth, day' ot December, eighteen hundred and eighteen, on the six teenth day of December, eighteen hun dred and nineteen, and on the fifteenth day of May, eighteen hundred and twen ty-one, shall nave until tho first day' fc of November, eighteen hundred and thirty, to takeout his, her or their grant upon paying into the Treasury the sum of eight dollars. Sec. 2. And be it further enacted by tho an* thorilv aforesaid, That from and nftcrfho first day of November, eighteen hundred and thir ty, the lands so drawn as aforesaid, and not granted, shall revert to und become the prop erty of tho State. Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this net shall not extend to any lot or lots of land, drawn by orphans until three years af ter tlio said orphans shall have arrived at the age of twenty-one years; nor to any lots drawn by idiots or lunatics or persons who Jiavo cli>i>urL>tl tliia life nineo they gave in for a draw or draws in said lotteries of 1819,1910 and 1821, and whoso estates are unrepresen ted, nor to any lots number ten and one hun dred set apart’for the purposes of public edu cation. Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That all laws and parts of laws militating against this act, he and the same is hereby repealed. See, 5. And bo it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That it shall be tho duty of his Excellency tho Governor, to 'cause this net to be published in all the public Gazettes of this State, once a month, until tho first day of November next, and that ho cause the expenses of such publication to be paid out of the contingent fund.
