To extend tho time for fortunita drawers in tho Land
Lotteries of eighteen humlredjand eighteen, eighloun
humireil and nineteen, and eighteen hundred and
twenty-one. to tnko out grants for tho lands thus
drawn, mid utter the liino therein specified, to vest
tho saint) in the state.
B E it enacted by tho Senato and House of
Uoprosentatives of tho Stnto of Geor
gia in General Assembly mot, and it is here
by enacted by tho authority of the same, That
every person who was a fortunate drawer in
tho land lotteries by the authority of tho acts
passed on tho fifteenth day o! December,
eighteen hundred and eighteen, on the six
teenth day of December, eighteen hun
dred and nineteen, and on the fifteenth
day of May, eighteen hundred and twen
ty-one, shall hiivo until tho llrst. day % of
November, eighteen hundred and thirty, to
take out bis, her or their grunt , upon paying
into the Treasury the sum of eight dollars.
Hoc. 2. And ho it further enacted by the au
thority aforesaid, That from mid after the first
day ot’Novctnber, eighteen hundred and thir
ty, the hinds so drawn as aforesaid, a ml not
granted, shall revert to and become tho prop-
urty of the State.
See. 1). And bolt farther enaeVd, That
this act shall not extend to nny lot or lets of
hind, drawn by orphans until three years af
ter tlie said orphans shall have arrived at the
ago of twenty-one years ; nor to any lots
drawn by idiots or lunatics or persons who
have departed this life pin a* 1 hoy gave in for
a draw or draws in said lotteries of HIM, 1910
and 1821, and whose estates are unrepresen
ted, nor to any lots number ton and one hun
dred set apart for tho purposes of public edu
cation.
Sec. 4. And her it further enacted, That all
laws and parts of laws militating against this
act, be and the same is hereby repealed.
See. f». And bo it further enacted by the
authority aforesaid, That it shall lie tho duty
of iiis Excellency tho Governor, to enusothis
act. to be published in all tho public Gazettes
of this Elate, once a month, until tho first
day of November next, uml that lie cause tho
expenses of such publication lo be paid out
of tho contingent fund.

A SMALL Black Leather Trunk, contain-
.Lm. iug elegantly bound Books, ’was taken
by mistake from Mr*. Mann’s Bearding
House, in New York, in tho Full of 1838,
since which nothing has boon heard of it. A
similar trunk was taken by mistake at the
same time, brought to this city, and has been
returned to New York. Should I lie former
have fallen in the way of any person, ho will
confer a favor, by giving information at the
ofiioc of the Georgian.
