Representatives of tho Stato of Gcof*
git in General Assembly met, and it is here
by enacted by the authority of tho same, That
every person who was a fortunate drawer in
tho laud lotteries by the authority of tho acts
passed on tho flftconth day of December,
eighteen hundred and eighteen, on tho six
teenth day of December, cmhtcojt hun
dred and nineteen, and on the fifteenth
day of May, eighteen hundred and twon*
tv-dnn, shall havo until tlw first day k of
November, eighteen hundred and thirty, to
takeout his, Her or their grant upon paying
into the Treasury tho sum of eight dollars.
Hoc. 2. And he it further enacted by tho au
thority aforesaid, That from ami aftertho first
day of November, eighteen hundred and thir
ty, tho.lands so drawn as aforesaid, and not
grunted, shall revert to and become the prop
erty of tlie State.
Ecu. 3. And he it further enacted, That
this not shall not extend to any lot or lots of
land, drawn by orphans until three yours af
ter, tho said orphans shall have arrived at tho
ago of twenty-one years j nor to any lots
drawn by idiots or lunatics or persons who
have departed this life since they gave in for
it draw or draws in said lotteries of 1818,181D
ami 1821, and whoso estates uru unrepresen
ted, nor to any lots number ten and one hun
dred set apart*for the purposes of public edu
cation.
*Soe. 4. And bo it further enacted, That nil
laws ami parts of laws militating against this
act. he and tho same is hereby re pealed.
Ec»\ 5. And bo it further enacted by tho
authority aforesaid, That it shall bo tho duly
of bis Excellency tho Governor, to cause this
act to bo published in ull'tho public Gazettes
of this State, once a month, until the first
day of November next, and that he cause tho
expenses of such publication to be paid out
of tho contingent fund.

tinued so to do fur several days in succession,

fined to my bed, where I lay for two months
until I was reduced to such a state of debility,
that my frionds began to despair of my recove
ry. I hud made use also of all tho popular
remedies without benefit, and having acciden
tally heard of this Specific, I determined to
give it a trial, anticipating trom tlio uso of it,
no hotter result than bail attended the use of
all tlio remedies I had taken; but in this I was
happily disappointed. At my very lowest
state I commenced tho uso of this Specific.
i took the first dose nt night in a little herb ten,
sweotened, which threw mo in a gentle por-
spiration nnd procured for mo a good night's
rest. I continued to take tho medicine ns di-
roctod, and in abaut five-days my cough was

The Savannah Steam Rice Mill
T illS establishment commenced opera
tions for the season, the beginning of
this month, nnd Having heat all tho old luce
on hand is now in complete order for the re
ception of tho now crop, having plenty of
room nnd separate bins for each lot. The
mill will wc kept going night and day ns soon

tained that from 80 to 100 barrels can be
cleaned in tho 24 hours “tho engine and ma
chinery being first rate” so that planters
sending rice to this mill may cuJculnto within
