An Act To extend dm lima fur fortuoato drawers iu tho Land Luttcrios of eightocn huadrud'and eighteen, eighteen hundred and ulnotocii, and eighteen hundred aud twenty-one. to tuhu out grants for the lands thus drawti, and alter tho time therein specified, to vert Ihu same iu the state, B E it enacted by tho Senate and House of Representatives of tiro State of Geor gia iti Qcuovul Assembly met, and it is here by enacted by the authority of tho some, That every person who was a fortunate drawer in the land lotteries by the authority of the acts passed eu tho fifteenth day of December, eighteen hundred and eighteen, on the six teenth day of December, eighteen hun dred and nineteen, ami on the fifteenth day of May, eighteen hundred and twen ty-one, shall have until the first day of November, eighteen hundred uml thirty, to take out his, her or their grant, upon paying into tho Treasury the sum of eight dollars. Hoc. 2. And be it further enacted by t he au thority aforesaid, Thut from and after the first day of November, eighteen hundred uml thir ty, tho lauds so drawn as aforesaid, aud not granted, shall revert to and become the prop erty of the State. Sec. 3. And be it further enacted. That this act shall not extend to nny lot or lots of land, drawn by orphans until three years af ter the said orphans shall have arrived at tho age of twenty-one years ; nor to any lots drawn by idiots or lunatics or persons who have departed this life since they gave in for a draw or draws in said lotteries of 1919,1811) and 1921, and whoso estates are unrepresen ted, nor to any lots number ten uml one hun dred set apart* for the purposes of public edu cation. Sec. 4. And be it further euacted, That all laws and parts of laws militating against this act, be and the same is hereby repealed. Hoc. 5. Aud bo it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That it shall be tho duty of his Excellency the Governor, to cause this act to be published in all tho public Gazettes of this State, once a month, until tho first day of November next, and that he cause tho expenses of such publication to bo paid out of tho contingent fund, WARREN JOURDAN, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Tho 12th of March, 1828,1 puked blood for the first time, mul con tinued so to do lor several days in succession, and on tho 14th oftlio same month was con fined to my bed, whore I lay for two months until I was reduced to such a stuto of debility, that my friends began to despairof my recove ry. I laid made use also of all tho tiopular remedies without benefit, and having ucciden- tnlly heard of this Specific, I determined to give it a trial, anticipating from tho uso of it, no bettor result tlmn hud attended the uso of all tiie remedies I hud taken; but in this 1 was happily disappointed. At my very lowest slate 1 commenced the use of this Specific I took tlio first dose at night in a little herb tea, sweetened, which tliruw mo in u gentle per spiration and procured for mo a good night’s rest. I continued to take the medicine ns di rected, mul in about five days my cough was completely stopped and havo not hud any ru- turn since. 1 am now perfectly satisfied of the superior qunjity of this Specific over every other medicine offered for tlio euro of tiie above disease.
