this month, and having beat all tho old litas
on hand is now in coiiiploto order for the re
ception of tho now crop, having plenty of
room and separate bins for each lot. The
mill will wo kept going night and day as soon
us the supply will warrant it—It is now ascer
tained that’from 80 to 100 barrels can bo
cleaned in tho iI4 hours “the engine and ma
chinery being lirst rato” so that planters
sending rice to this mill may calculate within
a few days when they can receive it ready fur
market. Tho mill will furnish barrels when
ever required at 87A cents each, and will laud
rough rice from tho deck of vessels at 1 a ct.per
hushet. Tho proprietors have erected on the
premises a range of very secure and lire proof
brick buildings covered with slate fur the pur
pose of storing riee when required, by which
the owner of it, may avoid the expense of
ilrnyagos, &c. and preserve its good order for
readier sale. Notice will htf^tveti the Fac
tor when the parcel for him is commenced,
that lie may determine in time, to have it stor-
d, or receive it from the mill as soon as heat.
In case it is not taken away when turned out
of tho mill, it will bo put. into store and tho,
usuvtl charge made ot li cents per week. A
constant supply of small rice and rice Hour
always on hand for sale in large or small
