on hand, a supply of Gram, Provisions,
Dry Goods, Groceries, <5ft\ <$?c.
All of which he will sell upon reasonable
terms, lie pledges himself to furnish such
ns may honor him with a call; with as good
fare as tho country affords ; and flattors- him
self that ho will receive n share of public pat
ronage. His charges will be ns follows, viz.
Supper, lodging, horse feed for night, and
breakfast, one dollar; breakfast and horso
feed, fifty cents; dinner, and horso feed, fifty
cents. Ho would observe, that two mails ar
rive and depart from his house every week.
He lias lived fivo years in the Cherokco Coun
ty, and has travelled over a great part of it,
therefore ho claims an almost universal
knowledge of its soil, nnd productions. • To
fortunate drawers, that put up with him, he
will give the best information about their
land, that ho is in possession of, us w«ll as
the best instructions how they may find it,

BEWARE OF DECEPTION.
Several por.-onsarc in the practice of using
a Label on their snuffs tn imitation of the sub.
scribers which they havo used upwards of 30
years and can be for no other purpose than to
deceive.
Some are also in tho practice of mixing in
ferior Snuff with their Genuine Maccoboy
Snuff and selling it as first quality.
Others arc also in the practice of filling
empty jars with the subscribers’ label on them
with inferior Snuff and selling it as their man
ufacturo.
Their motive in making this publication is
to guard their customers against the decep
tion practised upon them.
