the effected membrane, removes the incipient tu
bercles, end rentores those vital organs, the lung*,
to a sound and healthy condition.
REMEMBER THIS.
Spitting of blood always arises from a tnndehey
to tuberculous diseases, and if not checked at the
outset, will sooner or Inter terminate in death. A
person who ruiues blood once, will rnLio blood
again, unless a proper curativeisimmediately em
ployed.
7 PAIN IN THE SIDE.
This distrcsning symptom of Consumption ari
ses rrotu iufiutmoatioii of the lungs, on the mem
brane cnlled the pleura, or from bronchial affection
ol the air passages. Iu either case it is a very dan
gerous indication of diseaie. It prevents full nnd
ren breathing, nnd weursii way the natural strength
of the system. The cause of this symptom should
be removed ot once? and nothing can possibly ef
fect that object so speedily and huppilv as the great
English Remedy, discovered by Dr. Buchan,
which is entirely vegetable in its ingredients, and
perfectly harmless in all Us qualities.
LIVER COMPLAINT.
In cases of Consumption, the Liver is always
more or le>s affected, and also the Spleen Pleura
and small intestines. Ou dissecting Consumptive
patients, Tuberoles are often found in all these or
gans, particularly upon the Liver, which also be
comes fnity, oily olid swelled. The effect of the
Hungarian Balsam in diseases of. the Liver, espe
cially if it be of an ulcerous nature, is direct and
powerful. Simple disease of the Liver, unattend
ed by Consumption is speedily cured by its use.
WINTER COUGH!
The harsh, dry, hacking Winter Coaglt which
afflicts Old Peuple, end invalids, id a lew state or
health is happily affected by the Hungarian Balsam.
It warms, moistens, and stimulates the whole
breathing apparatus; removos all morbid mucus,
nnd other foul mailer? purifies and animates the
blood; improves the searetivo power of the Liver,
Spleen, and other lurge glands, and (lie digestive
urgaiH? and imparts uow life to the wau and
emaciated system.
BRONCHITIS!
Bronchitis. Difficulty of Breathing. Harsh
Cough, a slimy expectoration, with all other
symptoms caused by affection of the air-tc.Les lead
ing from the ihront to the Lungs, are directly and
specifically cured by the use of the admirable
remedy invented by Dr. Uuohao.
