The schedule ofsUea of April 10.1848,hM been modified
by throwing out altogether site No. 3. of all articles of cloth
ing, arid changing the average number of sises Nos. 1 and 2,
for each one hundred pleeea; and all proposaU m.uat have
reference to this change. A new schedule of sites will be
found with the samples, at the respeetlvo navy yards.
The clothing and clothing materials will be divided Into
nine claws, for each of which separate proposals will be
received, ana a separata contract mads, via:
First Cuss.—All the woollen articles made up. via. blue
cloth pea JaokeU, blue cloth monkey jackets, blue cloth
round Jackets, blue cloth trowsen, blue tUnnel overskirts,
blue flannel undersblrts, and blue flannel drawers.
SEOOxn Class.—All the flannel that may be required for
making garracnU similar to those specified in the first cUu.
Third Cuat—All the linen articles made up, vU. Barns

Company to ulg a basin forty feet wide, for the reception of
flat boats at their wharf on the canal.
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen of the
city of Savannah and hamleta thereof In Council assembled,
and It is hereby ordained by the authority of the same,
That the Canal Company be, and Is hereby permitted to
make a basin seventy-five feet wide for timber, he, through
the land of tho Central Rallrord and Banking Company of
Georgia, on the western side of the canal and connected
with the canal: Provided, That Uie same be located under
tho supervision of the Committee of Dry Culture, and that
all culverts and ditches which the said Committee shall
deem necessary by reason of said basin, shall be mado by
the said Canal Company at Its expense. •
Sec. 2. Be It further ordained by the authority aforesaid,
That the Savannah Patent Brick Company be, and it is here
by permitted to make a basin forty feet wide for tbe recep
tion of flat boats, at their wharf on the canal: Provided.
That tbe same be located under the supervision of the Com
mittee on Dry Culture, and that aU culverts and ditches
