A N ORDINANCE to amend an Ordinance defining what
shall be considered public nuUaneet, and for the remo
val of the same—Passed 2d August. 1839.
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor, and Aldennen of the
City of Savannah and hamlets thereof in Cbnucil assembled,
and it Is hereby ordained by the authority of the same, that
from and after the paadng of this Ordinance, the provisions
of said Ordinance prohibiting tbe keeping of hogs within
certain limits, be and the same are hereby extended so as
to embrace and include the whole corparate limits of the
City of Savannah, knd the hamlets thereof.
Sir. 2. Be it ordained by the authority aforesaid, that an
Ordinance* or rart# of Ordinances, conflicting with the pro
vision* of this Ordinance, be and the same are hereby re
