fleato from a highly respectable source, of a cure made by
using tholr preparation of Sarsaparilla :
Chatham, Miss., July 28, I860.
Mossrs. A. B. A D. Sands—Gentlemen: So truly valua
ble do I consider your Sarsaparilla, that 1 feel tt to be my
duly to state for the benefit of others, the cure effected On
myself. Previous to 1846. 1 had a discse or tha throat,
which destroyed tho tonsils. land was then attacked with
rtolont pain In Hie head. This soon resulted in severe In-
Hammatlnn. and imnionso quantities of blood and matter
were discharged. Fur six weeks the disease continued in
tho bead, ana then pervaded the body generally, attacking
all the limbs. I was confined to a sick bed, from which I
never expected to arise. Many physicians attended me,
aud the most skilful pronounced me past cure. In short,
tongue cannot express my sufferings; and fa this condition
I heard of your Sarsaparilla, purchased six bottles, and re
nounced all other medicines. I did not expect to take all
I bought, so debilitated had my system become. Contrary
to all ex|iectation. my health almost immediately began to
improve. ] was able to attend to ray domestic unties, and
soon could walk nut. a thing I onco thought would be Im
possible. My gratltudo 1 cannot express, feeling satisfied
that nothing elsi could have relieved me of the misery and
suffering II hen endured. I most cheerfully recomend Sands’
Sarsaparilla to ail suffering as I hare done. Respectfudy
yours, Kxekpca Mato.
Knowing the above statement to be strictly correct, and
being near neighbors to Mrs. Mayo, we cheerfully testify ‘
the same.

destroyer of human happiness at length is conquered!
Consumption shall no longer rob our firesides of their

soon ho as the things that were—and Coughs and Colds, the
t mrents of that fell disease, that so often brings wo to the
ionics of our laud, vanish, as if by magic, before this sover
eign remedy.
Uils is that which lias so long been sought for, and is in
full faith offered to the public as a certain cure for coughs,
colds, whooping-cough, croup, asthma, and consumption,
and will, in any case where lungs sufficient aro left to sus

into the market without a thorough trial, but has proved
beyond a doubt, that what has been asserted can he done.
••The sentiment, that consumption cannot be cured, lias
destroyed more lives than the disease itself.”—Dr. Warren.
