A Negro Arrested for Murder In SaTanitnh.
Buffalo, N. Y; ( August 29.
A negro named IVatson vrns yesterday arrested at
Niagara Falls, charged with tho murder of a person
named Jones, three years ago, In Savannah. Imme
diately aftor tho arrest bad bocorfio, known some threo
hundred Degrees formed a mob and resenod IVatson
from tho custody of tho ofllcora. A number of Irish
laborers were then culled to the assistance of the ofQ-
cera, when a desperate light took place, which result
ed In tho re-capture of tho negro Watson, who was at
onco convoyed south.
