for tho purpose of ascertaining how far tho contract cor
responds with tho original bids, and shall report to Con
gress at the next session the facta and circumstances con
nected with tho said contract 5 and also for what nmount
the said mall service could be performed If a now contract

Postmaster General shall direct.
Proposals to touch at Holyhead, In England, will be con

No. 8. From Now York, by Cowes, In England, to Havre,

Proposals for changing the terminus of this line from
Havre to Antwerp. In Belgium, and for one additional trjp
a year, eaeh way, will be considered.
No. 7. From New Orleans, Louisiana, to Vera Cru*. Mexi
co, and back, three times a month, supplying Tampico,
Mexico, by a side mail going and returning.
Leave New Orleans on the first, fourteenth and twenty-
fifth days.
Arrive at Vera Cru* same month by the fourth, seven
teenth, and twenty-eighth days.
