hr. 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen of the
city of Savannah and the hamlet's thereof in Council as
sembled, and It Is hereby ordained by the authority of t 1 '-
sarue. That from and after the passing of thi* ordinance ru-
person (except tho*e who bring poultry and game, fruit and
fish from the country in part.* or otherwise) sl.all -ell any
poultry or game, dead or alive,Iruit or fish, in or near the
market of Barannah, w ithout taking out a license for the
same.
Bee. 2. Be it further ordained by the authority aforesaid.
That the price o! said license shall lie mu-thousand dol
lar’ with five dollars fee to the i lerk of the Market, that
-aid license shall be granted by the Clerk of Council, and
continu- in force for one year.

Section 1 Ik-it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen of
the city of Savannah and the hamlet* thereof in Council
a*--mb|ed. and it is hereby ordained by ;he authority of
the same, fliat the eastern part of Lit letter K. Percival
ward, nnd the improvement* thereon, known as the Arm
ory Buildings, and belonging to the Chatham Artillery, he
and the same nre hereby exempt from city taxation while
the same is used by the aforesaid Company for military
purpose*.
See. 2. Be it further ordained by the authority aforesaid.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances militating against
the provisions of this ordinance lie. and the same are here
by repealed.
