commence on the first Monday in November, and ter
minate In the following March. Preliminary Lactures will
bo delivered from Monday, the 16th day of October, until
the commencement of the Regular Course, for which t»o
additional fee will be required. Students have free access
to the Medical and Surgical Wards t f the Savannah Hospi
tal. This extensive charity is under tho medical control of
two members of the Faculty, by whom Clinical lectures
are delivered. In addition to this, they have ample oppor
tunity for learning practical medicine at the College Clin-
iquo. which is open daily to patients.
During tho pant session upwards of two hundred cases
were prescribed for. and over thirty surgical operations per-
termed in the the presence of tho student* at the Clinique.

be expected to furnish a femalo teacher for that depart

after the opening of the school, as the number of music

The rates of tuition will be subjected to the approval of
the Commissioners. A small rent for the use of the
buildings, simply sufficient for keeping the grounds and
lots in repair, will be paid annually by the principal to tho
Board.
Tlie Board will simply remark, that every facility for tbo
establishment of a first-rate institution, underenterprising
and energetic management, is now afforded. In point of
health, religious, social and moral advantages. Walthour-
ville is unsurpassed by any place in Georgia, while tho
Railroad which will soon pass through the village, will
place it within the easy reacli of the surrounding country.
