T HE Commissioners of the Watllionrvllle Academy, de
sire to obtain the services of a competent principal,
for the school at the above place, which will be opened oh
the 1st January next, for the accommodation of as many
scholars as nmy please to connect themselves with it. The
school will now nnmber about sixty scholars, with every
prospect of increase under efficient management.
The principal wilt have the control of ail of tho depart
ments. with the proceeds of tultiun accruing from them.—
He will be furnished with a pleasant and capacious reel-
donee, embracing eight line rooms, sufficient for boarding
his assistants ana some pupils from a distanto. He will
be expected to furnish a female teacher fur that depart
ment. subject to the approval of the Commissioners. The
department of music can bo organised and suppllod as soon
after the opening of tho school, as the number of mnsla
scholars can be ascertained.
Tho rate# of toition will be subJeoM to tbo approval of
the Commissioners. A small rent for the use of tho
buildings, simply sufficient for k?eping the grounds and
lots in repair, will be paid annually by the principal to the
Board.
