AYEll’S FILLS,
FUR ALL THE l'URI OdES OF A FAMILY PHYSIC.
There has long existed a publlo demand for an effective
purgative pill which could be relied on as sureandperiect-
Iy safe in Its operation. This has been prepared to meet
.‘hat demand, and an oxtenaire trial of its virtues has con
clusively shown with what success It accomplishes the
purpose dosigued It tt easy to make a physical PHI, but
not easy to mate the best of all Pills—one which should
have none of tin* objections, but all tho advantages of every
otner. This has been attempted here, and with what suc
cess we would respecttuilv submit to tho public decision.
It has been unfortunate for the patient hitherto that al
most every purgative medictue is acrimonious and irrlta
ting to thu bowms. This is not. Many of them produce
so much griping pun and revulsion in the system ns to
more than counterbalance the good to be derived from
them. These pills produoono irritation or pain, unleis it
arise from a previously existing obstruction or derange
ment In thn Dowels. Being purely vegetable, no harm
can arise from tnoir use in any quantity: but it Is batter
that any mndlclno should be taken Judiciously. Ylinute
directions for tQelr use m tho several diseases to which
they are applicable are given on the box. Among the
complaints whicn have been speodily cured by them, we
may mention Liver Complaint, In ita various forms of
Jaundice, Induteallon, canguor and Loss of Appetite, Llst-
lessness, Irritability. Bilious Headaci o, Billoue Fever
Fever ond Agup, I’aiu in the Side and Loins, for, In
truth, all thete nro but tho consequence of dlseasod ao
lion In the liver, as on aperient, they afford prompt
and sure relief In Coitivenuss. Files. Colic, Dysentery. Hu
mors. ScroUila and scurvy. Colds, with soreness of the
body, Ulcers und impurity of the blood ; In short, any nnd
eveiy cuso wnere a purgative is required.
They Imre also produced sorou singularly success fa
cures la Rheumatism, gout. Dropsy,(Travel. Erysipelas,
1’nlpllAtion ol mo Heart, ruins in the Back. Stomach, and
Side. They snould bn freely taken in tUVspring ol tho
year, to puiilv the blond and pi opare the system for the
change ot xnniuux. An occasional dose stimulates tho
stomach and bowels into healthy action, and restores the
appetite ana vnror. They purity the bloood, and by their
stimulant action on tne nrculatorj system, renovato the
stirngthottne oodv.and rostore the wasted or diseased
energies ol tne wnoie organism Hence an occasional
dostIs advantageous even though no serious derangement
exists: buiunueo ssarr dosing should never be carried too
far, as ererv purgative medicine reduces the strength,
when taken to excess. Thu thousand cases In which a
physic la reauirea cannot do enumerated hero, but they
huggest tncraseives to the reason of every body ; and It is
confidently believed tnis pill will answer a better purpose
than any thimr ahlcn has hitherto been available to man
kind. when their virtues are onco known the pub.lo will
no longer dount wnat remedy to employ when In need of a
cathartic maaieioH.
Being sugar wrapped they are pleasant to take, and bo-
