AVER’S PILLS.
FOR ALL THE PURPOSES OF A FAMILY PHYSIC.
There has long existed a public demand fur an etfectire
purgative pill which oould be relied on as sura and perfect
ly safe in Ita operation. This has been prepared to meet
tnat demand, and an extensire trial of ita virtuea has con
clusively shown with what aucce** It aecompllshes the
purpose designed. It is easy to make a physical Pill, but
not easy to mate the beat of all Pihs—one which should
have none or the objections, but all the advantages of every
other. This has been atteiubtcd here, and with what suo-
ee*a we would respecttnUr submit to the pnblio decision.
It baa been nntortnnate for the patient hitherto that al*
moat every purgative medicine is acrimonious and irrita
ting to (he bowels. This la not. Maoy of them produce
*o much gripiog pain sod revulsion In the system a* to
more than counterbalance the good to bo derived from
them These jiUt produce no Irritation or |uvin. unless it
ariae from a previously existing obstruction or derange
meat in the bowels. Being purely vegetable, no harm
can arisefrom their n*e in any quautlty; built la better
that any medicine should be taken Judiciously. Mlnut#
directionafor their use in the severs! diseases to which
they are applicable arc given on the box. Among the
complaints which havo been speedily cured by them, we
may mention Liver Complaint, In Its various formn of
Jaundiee, Indigestion, Laoguor and Loss ot Aiipetlte, List-
. . .. — - **-- ‘ else. Bilious Fever,
leuneee, Irritability. Billons lleadacl.
Fever and Ague, Pam tn tha Side and l-olnw, for, in
truth, all thene are but the conscquoncc of diseased acj
lion in the liver. A* an aperient, Uioy ullord prompt
and sure relletin Costiveness, Hies.Cillc, Dysentery. Hu
mors, Scrolula and Scurvy, Cohls, with *i>r«m-*a of the
body, Uleara and impurity of the blood ; in short, any and
■very case wnere a purgative I* required.
They have alio produced some slugular’y succeed"
cures In Rheumatism, gout. Dropsy. Grand. Erysipelas,
Palpitation of tha Heart. Pains in the Back. Mom*cli, and
Sid*. They should be freely taken in the spring ol tlm
year, to partly the blood and prepare tbe system for the
change ot seasons. An occasional doso stimulate* the
stomach and bowels into healthy action, and restore* the
appetite and vigor. They purity the btoood, and by iliotr
■Umulant action on the jircnlatory system, renovate the
strength of the body, and restore tbe waste! or diseased
energies ot the whole organism. Hence an ••crosional
doee iaadvantsysous even though no eeriousderangement
exists; butnnoeocesary dosing should never b* carried t*o
tar, as every pargaitvc medicine miner* the slruogtli,
when taken to excees. The thousand ca*c* In whleh a
physic la required cannot to enumerated hero, but they
nugfest themselves to tbe reason of eiery body ; and It Is
oooBdenUr believed this pill will answer a better purpose
than au^r thing which has hitherto bocnavallshle to man.
