June 1.—The steamer Orizaba, from San Juan, arrived here to-day, with four hundred passengers from California, brought down by the Sierra Nevada. Dates from Nica ragua are to'the 29tb inst. The Transit route was again opeu and quiet was restored to Nicaragua—the Costa Ricans having evacuated the. country without another battle. President Mora left with his staff on the 20th April, and his army followed almost immediate ly after. The Cholera had made sad havoc in the ranks of the Costa Rican army. Gen.
