Cuatamala Against Nicaragua.-—Mexican intelligence, reported by telegraph, states that the followers of Tamarez, whose revolutionary movements were lately suppressed, are joining the forces of Gnatamala destined to operate against Walker. This report confirms the advi ces brought to New Orleans lust week by Mr, Morling,U. S. The Charleston (Kanawha) Republican of the 17th; notices the violent death, on the 14th, ol Kd. Much excitemeut prevailed in and about the hotel. No oue could tell who fired the shots—such was the suddenness of the affray, and the consequent confusion in the room that no one saw'a pistol in the hand of any one. The coroners inquest rendered a verdict! that Mr. K.’s death was caused by wounds in flicted by James V. and Andrew D. Lewis, UU brothewln-law. All the parties are gentlemen of high social position. The pupils of the cavalry school of that place gave a fine example of courage and devotedneas. They plunged Into tho water with their horses, they saved many invalids and lullrm persons from certuiu death, and compelled the inhabitants to leave their dwel lings. The clergy likewise displayed considera ble energy, and effected much in combating the strange determination of the people to remain in their houses. A young curate swam to a man who was d'nging to utreo, aud succeeded iu landing him iu safety.
