Ono bidder may oiler for all tho rations uud fuel
required for all tho light vessels In this district, or
for ouo or more of tho vessels separately, at lus 'own
optiou. The kind and quantity of fuel will bo deter*
mined upon, and tho contractor lufortflod acdord-
iugly. in advance of the time for making the quar
terly deliveries of rations on board of the respective
light-vessels.
Each bidder is required to attach to bis bid or
bids a written guarantee, signed by himself and a
responsible surety, that, in tbe event orthe contraot
being awarded to him, he wlU faithfully execute It
in conformity te tho terms of this advertisement.
The contractor will be required to enter lute bond
ith approved security for the fislthlhl exocutlon of
the contract; and no bid will bo accepted or contract
entered Into, until approved by the light House
Board.
Tbe contractor will be required to keep at least,

all times; and any expense incurred on account or

lowed to contract for or deliver rations forth* crew,
or fuel ora light-vessel, nor to be Interested In such

No contractor, superintendent, or msi«ctor will
be allowed to change tbe parts or tho ration, nor the
times that may bo determined upon for the delivery,
without authority oTthe Board.
