The opening services wero very Impres- ve, and attracted an immense throng. The Convention, it is said, will have tinder consideration matters of nnusual interest. Be* sides the qnestion of the restoration of Bishop Onderdonk, of Pennsylvania, that of liberal* Izingthe lltbergy will engage their attention* A correspondent of the Herald says: A new party has lately sprung up lu the piscopal church, which bids fair to sweep away the old landmarks, and to break down both tho old factions of high chnrch and low chnroh. It is called the Broad Ohnrchpartr and is well officered, and counts In Its rani much of the young blood and active zeal of tho chnrch.
