said ship drawing nineteen and one half feet or
water, could not cross tbo bar that morning, and
immediately and without farther delay, sailed away

so sailed away, tho weather was perfectly rair. and
has so continued hitherto, and the anchorage per
fectly secure, and that it is tne custom for ships
and vessels to wait a reasonable Umo for favorable
winds and tides to cross all bars, and this tbe mors
espociaUy at those ports where tbe aid or steam
oaunot bo obtained; that tbero is reason to believe
that tbo master or tbe Bald ship exaggerated her
draught, and that tbo some did not oxceed nineteen
foot as represented by her agents at tho time of
