Whoever wHI deliver said gelding to me in Savannah, lhall receive ten {hillings reward, and reasonable charges; but as I have eeafon to believe the gelding was taken away, I do hereby ptoinife a reward of forty {hillings Sterling, to be paid upon eoavi&ion, to any person that will difeover the offender. -June 79, 1763. TRAY ED from the fubicriber, a bright bay GELD IN G, O about 13 and a half hands high, has no brand, his na tural marks are four white hoofs, a small snip on his nose, and commonly canters when rode. A bright bay HORSE, near 14 hands high, branded as the other. Fifteen shillings Sterling reward wilt be paid to any per son delivering the said hones to Mr. Sharp in Jackfonfburgh, or to the fubferiber on said plantation; but as they are thought to be flolen, whoever will difeover the thief or thieves, lhall have a reward of five pounds Sterling, to be paid upon convi&ion. WHereas , by an inquefi taken the igtb day of March l-if, on view of the body of one Alexander CrawJ'ord, ftund dead at the plantation of John Milledge, Esquire, on Little Ogcchce , the verdid of the jury was, ** That the Jaid Crawford was fabbtd ** and murdered by a negroe fellow, named Seipio , the property of “ the said John Milledge',” which said negroe, immediately after perpetrating the said fad, made his escape ; and although a reward of jive pounds Sterling was offered by the said John Milledge for apprehending the said negroe, he hath not yet been taken ; and whereas it is of pubhek utility that the said negroe Jhould be brought So juflice, therefore notice is given. That, over and above the reward offered by the said John Milledge, a further reward of Ten Pounds Sterling will be paid by bis Majefiy's Treasurer for. this province, to any person or persons who Jhall apprehend the Jaid negroe, and deliver him to the Provofi-Marjhal at Savannah ; and if it Jhould happen that the Jaid negroe is killed in taking him, in Juch case, on a proper certificate and proof thereof, the person or Perjons Jhall be intitled to a reward of Five Pounds Sterling.
