Several courts, that of France amongst others, which has particular reasons for being attached to that of Warsaw, waits only for the resolution of that republick, to take part in favour of the Prince of Sax ony, and to make Russia depart from the obstinacy with which that power, without any plausible co lour or pretext, has undertaken to strip thefon of a monarch with whom (he is in friendfliip, to substitute a Lord whom Ihe had herfeif disgraced and banished, and who even ob tained his liberty and recal, but on condition of his re nouncing the dutchies whereof he is now put into pofieffion; jf renunciation which has certainly been given, and never been revoked in fqrm . ‘ Dantzig , March 8.
