The Duke of Bedford arrived in England the 29th of April last from France. . ON Saturday the 16th ink. at night, a gentleman com ing from the ferry, was attacked, noar Little Ogc chec bridge, by live negroes, who endeavoured to lay hold of his hoife’s bridle; but being provided with a good hic kory Hick, with which he knocked down two of them, and disabled the others, he got back fafe to the ferry that night. Some time lince a sailor was set upon about the lame place by negroes, who, after beating him, robbed hhn ol 20s. and made off. Ycflcrday arrived at Tybee, the brigantine Gottcnburgh Merchant, Capt. William Colbcck, from Lifboq, for Beaufort, for which place Ihe got a pilot and failed next day. The Sunday before Ihe went into Midway in company with the brigantine Midway, Capt.
