T} UN AWAY, from the plantation of Roderick M‘lver la. of Welch Tradt, Pedee, on the 3d of Augud 1761 .TWO NEGROE MEN, the one a yellowilh felfow named Whan, about 25 years old, ludy, and near fix feet high ; the other a black fellow, named Jack, about five Let 11 inches high, who ran*away about three years ago, and was taken up on Canouchie in Georgia by one Monck. There were two more negroes went off with them, 1/aac and Cbri- Jlopber, each fix feet high, and carried off three guns and 2 cutlass. They are all luppofed to be gone towards Georgia and St. Augudine. Thele are therefore to offer a reward of Ten Pounds currency for each of the two fird mentioned ne groes, and all reasonable charges, to any person or persons who will apprehend and deliver them to their mader at Pe dee, the warden* of the work-house in Charledown, Mr. Vincent at Savannah, Mr. Swinton at Sunbury, or to Charleffown, Auguf JOHN FORBES. ig, 1763. * To be fold by the fubferiber, A Stout able young NEGROE MAN, who has been used to making of bricks. WHereas, by an aft paflcd’of the General Assembly of the province of Georgia, his Majedy’s judices are dire&ed to sign certificates to nis Majedy’s treasurer, to such persons as they shall think proper to keep taverns, and to retail spirituous and other liquors, the judices of the town and diftritt of Savannah do hereby give notice to all persons inclinable to take out such licence, to deliver in their names tJ the said judices, at the Court-house in Savannah, on Monday the sth day of September ind. at nine o’clock in the forenoon, when certificates will be granted to such per sons as shall be apjffoved of, agreeable to the direction of . the said court.
