(JN AWAY from the fublcriber, about fix months ago, a NEGRO FELLOW called Cyrus ; he is a ihort thick and well fct fellow, country , born, and talks good Lngiiih, but {peaks low, and is about 24 or 23 years of age—AH©, about four months ago, another NEGRO FELLOW named Cofte; he is a tall and Aim young fellow very much pitted with the small pox, he is also country born, and speaks Engliffi.—Thefe two are supposed to be gone up towards TV ugufta, as Cyrus was seen and in custody near that place, and as the other was taken up there last year.—Also, another*NEGßO FELLOW called Casar; he is a little fellow, and speaks but very indifferent Englifhj 25 of the Angola country ; he is fuppo&d to be lurking near Savannah, as he has been taken near that place several time* before. Whoever brings these negroes, or any of them, to the fubferiber at his plantation, or to Mr. George Bail lie merchant in Savannah, shall be fufficicntly rewarded f according to the trouble they have been at, and all legal charges paid; and if he can find that they, or any of them, has been harboured or kept in secret by any person or per sons whatever, he will prosecute him or them to the utraoft of his power; and any person (hall be well rewarded that can give certa-n information by whom they or any of them have been so harboured or fccreted.. Hermitage , the 1 6tb S,pt. 1761.’ WHEREAS the fobferiber’s plantation, lately Chief Jullice Grover's, now named Hermitage, is priev. oufly and unfufferably annoyed and disturbed by negroes, who come there by land and water in the night-time, and not only rob, Real, and carry off hogs, poultry, Iheen, com, and his potatoes, but create very great disorders j! mongft his Haves, by debauching his Have wenches, who have hulbands, the property of the fubferiber; and fome are so audacious as to debauch his very house wenches: These therefore are to give notice to all proprietors of ILves, that, after the 16th September 1763, the fubferiber is determined to treat all negroes that shall be found within his fences, after fah-fet, and before fun-rife, as thieves, robbers, and invaders of his property, by shooting them, and for that in tent he has hired a white man properly armed for that pur- P2!ll PATRICK.
