BY an express which arrived yeßerday from Augufia, which place he* left on Saturday Jalt, we learn, that his Excellency ouij Governor, with his attendants, arrived there on Tuesday morning the 25th ult. the other Gover nors were cxpe&ed the day the express came away, and it *was thought they would proceed to business as on Monday. About 200 Cherokees, together with the Chickcfaws, Ca tawbas, two Choflaws, and 60 of the Upper and Lower Creeks, had been there fome days, and near 100 more of the latter were daily looked for. A good understanding fubfids between the Cherokees and Chickcfaws, but the Creeks and Cherokees seem not to be upon the best of terms. We hear, that, on the 14th of September, the magazine at Fort Augufia in Jamaica, wherein was between 2 and 3000 barrels of gunpowder, was by fome accident blown up, by which all the officers and soldiers that were in or near the fort were killed, the foundation of the building razed, and confiderable damage done. The Free Malons gave 120 L Jamaica money to the families of the unhappy fuffer ers. The Minerva, Barnes, from London, is arrived at Charlefiown.
