GEORGIA GAZETTE Number 34.. WHEREAS, notwith Handing the partnership of ELLIOTT and GORDON Jut £en near four years expired, many persons indebted to them have not ta ken notice of their frequent applications for payment, they therefore give this last warning that all bonds, notes, and accompts, (all which are in the hands of James Box, Esq;) that are not difoharged by the firft of January next, will poiitively, and without diftin&ion, be put in fait. The following TRACTS of LAND, belonging td Elliott and Gordon, will be fold at public k vendue in Savannah, the loth day of January next, for all which a year’s cre ‘ dit will be given, paying interest, and giving fecudty, if required. 550 acres on South Newport, adjoining lands late of Sa muel Hastings, mod part of it swamp, and great numbers of white oak trees on it, dose to a landing, laid out to James Heart. 200 acres at the head of Midway river, originally laid out jto Maurice Dullca, mostly swamp. 300 acres adjoining the fome, laid out to Grey Elliott. 200 acres adjoining the above, laid out to Joha Jones. Any Person wanting to purchafc the above at private sale, before the above day, may apply to * GREY ELLIOTT. r | AHE fubferiber being about to leave this province in a X very little time, gives notice to all pertont indebted to Francis Arthur and company, that these is an absolute necefiity for immediate payment of their refpedive debts. *He will dispose of fix valuable TRACTS of LAND upon very moderate terms, containing 4750 acres, vi*. One trad situate on North Newport river, about four miles from Sunbury, containing 900 acres, 400 of which arc good swamp, with a fine reserve of water, a good dwcUin*-* house thereon, and 80 acres of the high land cleared. Another trad of 350 acres, on a navigable creek, within ‘one mile of SuUbury, good for indico and rice, about 99 acres of the high land cleared, and a dwelling-houfc there on, plesfantly situated. 800 acres on Bull Town swamp, four miles from a landing. 900 acres on Newport swamp, fix miles from a landing. 5 09 acres on said swamp, seven miles from a landing. 1300 acres in St, Andrew’s parish, two miles from a landing. These four last trade are principally rice land, and esteem ed inferior to nofiein this province, having great convcni ency for back water. Enquire of Meflrs. James Read and company in Savan nah, or in Sunbury of FRANCIS ARTHUR. Who has several town lots in Sunbury, fome with im provements, likewise to dispose of. WHERkAS the fubferiber, in a few months, proposes to depart the province, therefore defire* all persons * who are anyways indebted to him to make speedy payment, otherwise must put all his outstanding debts into the hands of an attorney. And all persons who have any demands 0n him are desired to bring in their accounts for payment. He hath to fell THREE TOWN LOTS in Savannah, and several Valuable TRACTS of LAND, via. .• A trad, containing 1000 acres, known by the name of Vale Royal, of which 220 acres is exceeding goodtrice land; also 281 acres rice land opposite td it on Hutcninfon’s island, a large new bam, rice pounding machine by water, a good overleer’s house, with several other improvements, a mile and a half from Savannah, as well situated for pleaforc and profit as any trad in Georgia. One trad, containing 800 acres, commonly known by the name of*the Sabine Fields, formerly Mr. Thomas Bur lington ’s, about two miles and a half from Savannah, ex ceedingly well timbered “with white and red oaks, bays and pines, exceeding good land, at least too acres of good rice land, anew barn 72 feet by 64, a good dwelfing-houfe. and other improvements. One trad, containing 350 acres, two milfes from Savan nah on the Ogechee road, chiefly high swamp, pieafently situated, hath on it t dwelling-house, barn, and other im provements. - _ .
