Elq. Chief Justice, with Robert Pringle, Esq. assistant judge*

the occaflon by the Rev. Mr. Wilton 1 ; and being returned
his honour delivered his charge to the grand jury. Oft
Monday evening 22d, the grand jury returned their prefent

of indictment and thrown out twenty. The petit jury were
difeharged on Tuesday the 23d, having found Solomon
Hughes, and .Whqlaoawidzie, alias Evil-doer* alias a Creek
Indian, guilty of Mnrdtr ; Jofhaa Gim, James Wright, Ca
tharine Campbell,Sarah Kelly, and Eleanor Kelly, of Petit

•The court adjourned to Wednesday 24th, when Solomon
Hughes was sentenced so be hanged on Wednesday 31st.
