Ruto from the fubferiber's plantation about the
10th August last, TWO NEGROES; Abram, a
black fellow, about five feet fix inches high, aged about ?o
years, had on when he went away a blue fearnought jacket,
an old flap, and an old hat with very littld brim ; the other
named Peter , a fhortfellow, five feet three inches high,
aged about 25 years, had on when he went away a negroe
cloth jacket and breeches, and a white and green cap. Who
ever takes up the said. negroes, or either t)f them, and deli
vers them to my overseer, or the warden of the work-house,
wall be entitled to a reward of 10s. sterling for each of them,
with reasonable charges.
And whereas many of the inhabitants in the town of Sa
vannah have for fome years past employed their iervants and
negroes in cutting timber and marsh grass, and killing
® n m y land, highly prejudicial to my interest, This
is therefore to forewarn and desire all persons todefift, as
a J n not to fubmit* to such trefpafles hereaites,
and all who oftend may depend on being profccuted and
dealt with according to law.
