IVUN AWAY, on Tuesday the day of April last, a
JV GERMAN or DUTCH SERVANT, who signed in
dentures by the name and addition of John Smith Jhip carpen
ter, and came into the province with the servants then in
the harbour of Charlellown. He is a Bender light made
man, about 28 years old, 5 feet 10 inches high, pale fac’d,
wears his hair, a blue rough coat and breeches, and some
times a jacket and trowfers like a sailor, and speaks broken
Englifti.—ALSO RUN AWAY, about the end of the said
month, from my schooner, wherein he was Employed as a
mariner, an IRISH SERVAN T LAD, named John Sulli
van, about 4 feet 8 inches high, a pale complexion, tight
made, marked a little with the smallpox, and remarkable
for having bad one of his under eye lids cut ; he had on
when he went away a milled cap, a blue fearnought jacket,
a cheque shirt, and an old trowfers, and black lhag breeches.
—TEN DOLLARS reward, and all legal charges, fhali be
paid for each of the said servants that fhail be apprehended
and delivered to my overseer at Afhepoo, or to me in Charlef
town. I fufpeft they are gone lowards Georgia, where
Smith the German said he had a brother or fome relation.

N OTICE is hereby given, that the fubferiber purposes
opening a DANCING-SCHOOL, for the tuition of
young gentlemen in the neweil and politest manner now
praftifed, and intends to teach every Monday, Wednesday
and Friday evenings, at the house of Mrs. Mary Smith in
Savannah; and DANCING for young ladies and children
every Thursday and Saturday afternoon, at the house of Mrs.
Judith Swinton.—l likewise give further notice, that gen
tlemen from the country may lodge and board at the said
Mrs. Smith's, and young ladies and children at the said
Mrs. Swinton’s.—And I will do myfelf the pleasure of wait
ing on any person to inftruft them at their private lodgings,
between the hours of 10 and 12 in the forenoon on any day
as before mentioned, and flatter myfelf of giting entire fa
tisfaftion to every person who will do me the honour of fa
vouring me with their commands.

A TRACT of FIVE HUNDRED ACRES of LAND,
on the south point of Little Ogechec, about 14 miles
from town, to which there is a good cart road, bounding
well and north on Richard Cooper; 300 is good corn
and indigo land, and the rest good rice land, the whole in
ferior to none in the province. There is the bell mulberry
orchard in the province on this tradl, 401. a yeai having been
made from it for fome years in cocoons, and it has two hou*
fes and frames flt for that purpose; there is also a good orange
grove of bearing trees upon it. A vefiel of 200 tons may

HIS ISLAND of GREAT-WASSAW, with ALL THE
ADJOINING ISLANDS and HARD-FEEDING
MARSHES, containing upwards of 4000 acres; Great part
of the large island donnfts of a variety of low meadow and
other planting land, which may be eauly prepared for corn,
indico, or rice; also a great quantity of live oak, cedar,
and the hefl kind of pitch-pine, for Ihip-building; distant
but one tide of flood to Savannah; and has on it upwards of
100 head of fine tame cattle, many Iheep and hogs, and a
few horses and mares, which will be fold together with the
island—Whoever is inclined to purchase the whole may
have one, two, or three years credit, if required.
