France, England, and Sardinia, jo wards effefting an accommodation with

Letters from Warsaw advise, that all the grandees and ministers wera
summoned to a privy council, which was held on the 21 ft ult. in the
King's.prefence; and that of eighteen senators, who were theft ia that ci
ty, sixteen attended ; one of the absentees being prevented by indifpofi,
tion, and the other by the observance of a religious retifutnent in Lent.
Such a kind of aflqnbly, they observe, had not been called for a long
time. These letters add, that the Dissidents confederated at Thorn re
solved to fend a solemn deputation to the King, to represent to his
that the moft urgent necessity had obliged them to enter into that league*
and to beseech him at the fame time not to take it in an ill light. This reso
lution, it seems, occasions more farpri e than the confederacy itfclf ; and
people ire very impatient to fee whether the King will receive the depu
ties, or not j and inthertrft case, what answer he will give them.
Thursday last died, at his feat at Ockham, in Surry, the Right Hon.
