FIVE POUNDS STERLING REWARD.
9N Friday night the 47th iaft. was stolen out of the fubferiber’s pa
ftureat Draper’s Hill, near Ebenezer, supposed by Timothy Ter
pr Terry, and two other nun who fome rime ago made their escape
qut ofCharleftowa prison, TWO VALUABLE HORSES, both natural
pacers; one a dark bay, about 15 and a half hands high, branded on
the mounting (boulder S5, remarkably drong made, and an excellent
draught horle; the ocher a light bay, about 14 and a half hands high,
branded on the monnting buttock *, a large blaae and snip on his f .ce,
all four feet white, a very f#ift pacer. Whoever apprehends, and will
give evidence against the said Terrell, or Terry, or any of his accompli
ces, so as he or they may be convi&c.l, will be paid the above sum by the
fubferiber, or TWENTY SHILLINGS STERLING REWARD upon
delivery of the borfes to the Hon. Grey Elliott or John Mullrync, Efqrs.
in Savannah, or at Draper’s Hill to FRANCIS ARTHUR.
N. B. These men have been for fome time in this neighbourhood, and
have stolen other horses, and done more mifehief. aßth June, 1767.
WANTED,
A PERSON properly,qualified to take charge of an INDFCO PLAN
TATION on ihe island of Offabaw, on which is about 30 work
ing hands. A person with a family would be preferred. He mud be
well acquainted with the management of dock of all kinds. Should he
bave any negroes, they may be put on lhares on a separate plantation 00
that iflaad. Good encouragement will be given on application to

The PRESENTMENTS of the Grand Jurors fdr the Province of Geor
gia, at a Court of General Seflions of the Peace, Oyer and Terminer,
Assize and General Goal Delivery, begun and holden at Savannah, on
Tuefdav the 9th Day of June, 1767, before the Hon. William Simp
fob, Esq. Chief-ju&ice, Noble Jones, and James Deveaux, Efqrt.
Assistant Judges.
WE the Grand Jurors for oar Sovereign Lord the King, upon our
oaths, do present:
I. Thomas Red, of the parish of St. George, for retailing spirituous
liquors without a Hcenfe, and keeping a disorderly house; and also for
supporting and encouraging the refeue of Philip Aldon.
2. John, .James, and Reuben Red, font of the aforefaid Thomas Red,
and of the parish of St. Paul, for aiding and aflifting with fire-arms, and
other means,, the persons concerned in the refeue of Philip Aldon, as will
appear by the evidence taken by the Grand Jurors, and is hereunto an
nexed.
J[. Thomw Green, of the province ofSouth-Carolina, but is fup
ed to be in this province, for prefumptuouffy oppoffng the execution
of our Chief-Judice’s warrant for the apprehending of Philip Aldon, and
for encouraging said Aldon and others to pay no obedience thereto.
4. Francis Stringer, of the parish of St. George, for refufing to assist
John Smith in the execution of the Chief-Joftice’s warrant when requir
ed thereto. ~
5. Robert Hatcher, Edward Hatcher, and Jacob Colfton, of the pa
rim of St. Paul, for forcibly entering the house of Henry Sharp, tad
threatening the life of the said Henry Sharp, and of Jacob Sharp kit bro
ther. ■
6. Luke Dean, of Briarcreek, for keeping a. disorderly howfe, and
entertaining horfe.dealers, and other persons of ill-fame ; and also for
entertaining and harbouring (laves.
7. The Commiffipnert of the firft Division of the North-weft Road,
for not making the cau fey and bridges over Augu&ine’s Swamp pa/Table,
and for fuftcring the bridge over Mu (grove’s Creek to be very much out

SAVANNAH, Jvct 29.
THURSDAY last was married here, Mr. John Holman, of South*
Carolina, to Miss Priscilla Jones, of this province.
Next day, betwixt twelve and one o’clock, we bad a heavy shower of
raia and bail, attended with thunder and lightening; fome of the hail
stones were as large as pigeons eggs.
The Hillfborough Packet, Cipt. Leslie Grove, arrived at Ckarleftown
from Panfacola on Friday lift.
Capt. Crane, in a brigt. from the Bay of Honduras, and a brigt. from
Jamaica, Capt. Dean, arb arrived at Cockfpur.
