And, Mr. Speaker, and Gentlemen of the Assembly, 1 am to thank you for the supplies you have granted for the service of the present year ; but there it one thing that 1 recommended to you which has proved usfucctfsful, J mean the bill relative to Indian affair*, the utility and necessity of which (if poflible) appear* more and more every day • however, as the season is so far advanced, f cannot now recommend it to your reronfidtfration, but hope every gentleman will, during the aecefj inform and prepare himfdf in such a manner that, at our next Mil;, (omethirg effectual may be .greed open nUti'e 10Jth,, pom., foel&ntial to the peace and fafety of the province.
