On Monday the 21st of May next, at the house
in St. James’s Square where the Superior Cour ts
were tail holden, between the hours ol ten o’-
clock in the forenoon.and one in the afternoon,
the sale to begin at ten o’clock preeifdy,
TWO Trails of Land, containing- by resurvey
319 acres, more or less, in the parilh of St.
Matthew. .Both the said trails adjoin each other,
and also adjoin lands of Jacob Gilley, Boro-
Bjan, Philip Snider, Heifler, John Williams,
- Dalher, and— Townlliend. Also aTra&,
containing 650 acres of prime land, situated on a
large island in the river Savannah, nearly opposite -
to Puryfburgh, late the property of Quintin Pooler,
deceased. The whole seized on execution.

and her three children, Renham, Fatima, Sue,
Tom, Renah, September, Boson, Sally and her
child, Scipio, Peggy, Phillis, Oroonoko, and
which came to the pofftffion of James Haberfham
the younger, Joseph Haberfham, and John Hi
berlhara,. Executors of the said James Haberfham
the elder,, as it is said, at the house in St. James’s
Square where the Superior Courts were last hoidea,
between the houri of ten o’clock in the forenoon
and one in theater noon, the sale to begin at ten

of James Haberfham. —A Trad of Land, com
taming 330 acres, more or less, in St. Philip’s pa
rish, joining lands of Adam Fowler Brisbane; and
another Trad of Land, in the said parish of St.
* Philip, containing 500 acres, more or less, on
which the defendant formerly resided, near Fort
Argyle ; late the property of Shem Butler.—A Lot
of Land atYamacraw, containing io J.feetfquare*-
more or less, adjoining lands of Dr. Zubly, late
the property of Thomas Chifolm and Mary his
wife.—A Lot of Land in Savannah, containing
60 feet front and 90 feet deep, more or less, situ
ated between lots of John Richards and John Ly
ons, late the property of Samuel Elbert.-—A Trad
’ of Land in the parilh of St. John, containing 300
acres, more or less, situated on the north branch of
Midway liver, and near lands of John. late
the property of William Baker.—-A Trad of Land
in St. John’s parilh, containing 500 acres, more or
less, lying near Midway Meetinghouse, and ad
joins lands of Lyman Hall, late the property of
James Stewart.—A Trad of Land in the parilh of

and adjoins 1 ands of Wiliams Thomas
Sullivant, late the property of Daniel Sullivant.—

containing 500 acres, more or less, situated on

use of the Church and lands of David Thorn,
north-eatlerlv by lands of Hillary Butt,- andoo the
other tides by vacant lands; and another Trad of
Land, containing 100 acres, more or less, whereon”
Hillary Butt lately resided, in the said parish of
St. Matthew, on Rooty Pond, joining lands for
merly granted one William Moore ; late the pro
perty of Hillary Butt, deceased -—And a Trad of
Land, containing 300 acres, more or less, in the
parish of St. Andrew, which trad was granted to
Stephen Drayton, bounded south-easterly by lands
of Alan and Ann Stuart, and on all other sides by
vacant lands ; and also another Trad of Land, in
the feid parish of St. Andrew, formerly granted to
the said Stephen Drayton, containing 300 acres,
more or less, bounded northwardly by lands of
Stephen Drayton, fouthwardly by lands of Alan
and Ann Stuart, arrd on ail other sides by vacant
lands; late the property of Alan Stuart, deceased.

WHEREAS the Commons House of Aflembly
hath appointed Mr. Jenkins, Mr. Telfair, Mr.
Pattcrfon,Mr. Douglass, Mr. Baillie, Mr. Moffinar,
and’Mr. Hall, to be a Committee to ascertain the re
gular Depreciation of Paper Currency, commonly
called Rebel or Cor.greL Money, which circulated
in this province in time of the rebellion, and the
Committee arc empowered to fend for persons,
papers, and records: And whereas the forming
true, exa£t, and extensive Table, for the purpose
aforefaid, may be of the atmoft importance to
publick justice, as weli as to the inteielt of indi
viduals, and it is lettmry to obtain every infor
mation which can elucidate so intcrcfllng a matter:
THEREFQfejt ALL PMSQXB who either
bough; or fold lands, negroes, goods, or any ae
ther property, in this province, or any gold or
silver coin or bullion, for the paper currency afore
mentioned, in time of the rebellion, are requelled
to transmit to the Chairman of the Committee,
within two months from the date hereof, the terms
of every such purchase or sale r And the said Com*
mittee'will meet every Tuesday, at the house of
the Chairman, and there-fit iiorn the 4iouf& of nine
to eleven o’clock in the forenoon for the di/patch
of bufmefs.
