the debt secured, and a conveyance

Burden; the said FORT VALLEY
KNITTING MILLS will, on the 6th
day of January, 1925 (1925) before
the Court House door in Perry, Ga.,
and between the legal hours of sale,
sell to the highest bidder for cash the
following described property:
“One lot and two houses located
on Burns street in the City of Fort

“All that tract or parcel of land,
lying and being in Fort Valley, Ga.
fronting 70 feet on the East side of
Anderson Avenue and running back a
uniform width of 70 feet for a dis¬
tance of 200 feet. Said lot bounded

City of Fort Valley, originally and
now in the County of Houston, but
is a part of the territory embraced
in the new county of Peach which was
(rested by an amendment to the Cen
of the State of Georgia
proposed by an Act of the Legisla
Lire approved by said body July 18th,
1924, and ratified by the people of
the State of Georgia as required by
law in the General Election held on
the first Tuesday in November, 1924,
and which by the terms of said Vet.

fective and operative January 1st,
1925.

debt was given for the purpose of
securing the payment of one note
for the principal sum of $566.98,
bearing 8% interest from date, dated
February 23rd, 1922, and maturing

est from maturity at the rate of eight
per cent, per annum, signed by Jule
H. Hurst and payable to the order |
of W. G. Brisendine, said note being :
a renewal of the note above des
cribed, and being still due and unpaid,
and the said W. G. Brisendine is seek¬
ing to exercise his power of sale by
said deed to secure debt conferred.
The proceeds of the sale shall be
applied to the payment of the costs
of the sale and the discharge of the
indebtedness above described; and
the surplus, if any, shall be paid to
the said Mrs. Jule H. Hurst, her heirs,
.egal representatives or assigns.
Deed will be made to the purchaser
at the sale pursuant to the provisions
of the said deed to secure debt.
