They were not so enthused over winning the game, however, as they were over a mascot they picked up down the re. I hough some of them insist on cading their sponsor. Perhaps the girls who 1 lost to Cochran on Saturday will j pick up a mascot, too, and have bet ter luck next time RADIO FAN^ OF PEACH! T. F. Flournoy, who as chairman is making the Publicity Committee of the Fourth Annual Peach Blos¬ som Festival a mighty highly charg¬ ed wire reaching far and near, sug¬ gests that all radio fans keep alert for mention of the Festival by any broadcasting station in America and report such mention to him, giving the name of the name of the broad j i casting station from which the men¬ tion was made. Do this, fans! It off¬ j a p.j. e at opportunity for valuable ' publicity for the Festival i “BETTER BABIES” No paper or magazine is complete without its column or page for “Bet¬ ter Babies.” A great deal may be said on the subject but, somehow we never run across anything that is applicable to Peach County Babies. In fact the health, the character, the mentality and the individuality of the Peach county baby is so superi¬ or that we venture to say -hat if they were sweeter or more perfect their own mothers couldn’t stand them. We could tell you of a little Miss who came along last September, who has never had a drop of medicine in her life, has never caused anyone to get out of bed at night si me she first opened her blue eyes, She is just a healthy, happy, beautiful ba¬ by. There are others. We only men¬ tion this paragon. We have every reason to believe that these wonder ful babies look out upon the new world with seeing eyes. Their im pression must come very early as their quickly developing mentality and power of understanding things is increasingly evident. And as soon as they are able to express their ideas in words each little tot is a one-man-vaudeville. »• We have in mind a young lady of 2 or 3 summers who is very observing. She a visitor’s habitually correct pronun ciation of English and said tot her, “You say ‘half past seven’ and we say ‘ha’ pa’ seb’n’.” 4 CLOPINE CLIPPINGS 4 - 44444444444444444444444444 Mr. T. W.
