THE LEADER-TRIBUNE ^ ; : | . ■ # V ' f PM fij TO FORT VALLEY where the Luscious Georgia Peach Ripens to Its Full Perfection Greetings: The City of Atlanta greets the capital of Peach County, and links her wishes with those of Georgia peach growers for success of the Peach Blossom Festival, and for a bountiful peach crop. Fort Valley’s enterprise in staging the annual mammoth pageant of the peach blossoms is a distinctive service to Georgia and the South. Fort Valley’s yearly homage to the peach has attracted the country. And the fame and prestige of this delicious fruit is spreading rapidly, until soon it will be impossible for the state to grow an over-production. The Georgia peach and a discriminating palate are never in disagreement. WALTER A. SIMS, Mayor, CITY OF ATLANTA 3
