The latest suggestion is ‘‘Be Kind •to Husbands Week.’’ Now we have just as much right as anyone to suggest “Be kinds” so how about “Be Kind to Pedestrians Week?” And this doesn’t mean avoid them. It’s hard to believe when you see so many cars and filling stations, that there are quite a number of peo pie who never buy gas and ywho never ride in cars. And there are a number of people who have big cars and no passengers; it would be real kindness . to stop and pick up a weary walker now and then and it wouldn’t hurt a bit or cost you two minutes time if they live two or three blocks out of your way and, somehow, it’s the kind of kindness that is remem bered and brings a blessing. We rc member a time when we picked up sjn unknown old colored woman a few rnilcs out o£ town 0,1 a hot Months * a tei she approached us down town, , though we didn’t recognize her, and 8aid: “ You ’ se <k ‘ la,i y dat picked me U P dat day. I ain t forgot it and I’m s ' 10 sw ‘ m ' ' )r ‘ n £ y° u some nice fresh eggs.” And we truly believe that we’ll get the eggs if she ever sees us when she happens to have them. And then we remember a number of times when we’ve been picked up, specially when we had bundles. Lots of folks adore walking but a bundle is an abomination and there’s always a kind feeling toward an automobilist who has a thought for those who are not so fortunate. Lon is not serious and it is thought she will recover r&pidiy. 4- 4 4* Mr. Morgan Wilson visited frienu in Macon Sunday. * 4* 4* Mr. W. M. An excess of such acids overworks the kidneys in their effort to litter it from the blood and they become soct of paralyzed and loggy. When your kid¬ neys get sluggisli and clog you must relieve them, like you relieve your bowels, removing alt the body’s urinottS waste, else you have backache, sick headache, dizzy spells; your stomach sours, tongue is coated and when the weather is bad you have rheumatic twinges. The urine is cloudy, full of sediment, channels often get sore, water scalds r ■! you are obliged to seek relief two or three times during Jhe night. Either consult a good, reliable physi¬ cian .*.i on.'c or get from your pharma¬ cist about four ounces of Jad Salts; take a tablcspoonful in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and 1 your famous kidneys salts may then act fine. This is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with lithia, and lias been used for years to help clean and stimulate sluggish kid¬ neys, also to neutralize acids in the s' stem, so they no longer irritate, thus often relieving Madder weakness. Jad Salts is inexpensive, can not in* jure and makes a delightful, efferves¬ of cent lithia-watcr d ink. Drink lots soft water. 1 ’>•- ad means have your physician oninine your kidneys at least twice a year.
