Phillips Is Named
To Highway
Atlanta, July 21.—John R.
lips, of Louisville, Jefferson
was confirmed Monday by the state
senate as a member of the highway
board to succeed W. T. Anderson, of
Macon, resigned. Mr. Phillips’ nomi¬
nation was submitted by Governor
Walker and confirmed in executive
session. His term will end January 1,
1926.
Appointment of Mr. Phillips com¬
pletes the personnel of the highway
