following is copied from the charter
of the Berry Schools:
The purpose of said corporation
(the Berry Schools) are to conduct
and maintain the schools already es¬
tablished or which may hereafter be
established in connection therewith;
that said corporation is to be with¬
out any capital stock and without
profit or gain to the incorporators
or any person but is to be operated
solely for the benefit of poor boys
and girls of the rural and mountain
districts, and in accordance with the
law of said State; that it desires the
right to have and use a common seal;
to sue and be sued, to make pur¬
chases and effect all alienations of
realty and personalty, not for the
purpose of trade and profit, but for
promoting the general welfare of
• said schools and to look after the
general interest of such establish¬
ments, to receive donations, gifts and
bequests, corporate authority to en¬
force order in the management of

National Father and Son Week, ’ j
which comes November 8-15, will be
observed by many Sunday Schools in j ,
Georgia, according to the Georgia
Sunday School Association, which is |
giving out free of charge sample I
programs for some of the events of
the week. i
The purpose of the Weekk is as fol¬
lows:
1. To help fathers to have a deeper
respect for their sons and an appre¬
ciative and sympathetic fellowship
with them.
2. To help sons to have a deeper
respect and appreciation for their
fathers and the home life.
3. To lead both fathers and sons to
■ experience Christian fellowship in
i Corporation shall consist of any
number, not less than six, as may be
determined by the board of trustees

! tional trustees, as may be determined
