The meeting was called to order the president, Mrs. Lawrence Hous¬ ton, followed by roll call and the read¬ ing of the minutes by Mrs. Robt. Marchman, Jr. Reports were heard from the various committees after which Mrs. R. S. Braswell, Jr., took charge of the program. Mrs. W. J. Braswell gave, in her usual charming manner, a talk on “The Home.” A reading by Miss Evelyn Duke completed the program. A delightful program of music was enjoyed by all, then the guests were invited into the dining room where refreshments were serv ed. * * * Miss Emma Lou Hallman, who teaches at Whitewater near here, gave her pupils a box supper Friday night.
