J. D. Wortham led prayer meet¬
ing on Wednesday night at the
Baptist Church here.
J. D. served in the army for
two years, with six months’ for¬
eign service in Korea. While there
he received the Combat Infantry¬
man’s medal, the United Nations
medal, and the Korean Service
Medal.
After receiving his honorable
discharge from Fort Jackson in
March, he felt called to preach,
