health inspector in the ministry of
public health in Rome, Italy, stud¬
ied Georgia’s maternal and child
health program, as well as its lo¬
cal health administration and the
federal-state-local Hill-Burton hos¬
pitals. His special interest is in a
nutrition program. Dr. Bellanti’s
study program in the United States
has been sponsored by the World
Health Organiation. He spent a
year at Pittsburgh University’s
School of Public Health. He has
studied Georgia’s rodent and in
sect control methods, and will
spend several days at the Corn
municable Disease Center. After
that, he will visit a leprosarium in
Louisiana and visit other points
before returning to Italy.
Dr. Guillermo Guevara, of the
health department in Panama, is
studying under the Point Four pro
gram. He studied a year at Yale
University’s school of public
health. He ha3 studied Georgia’s
insect and rodent control method's
and will also study the maternal
and child health program. Dr. Gme
vara will visit Communicable Dis
ease Center field stations in Sa
vannah, Thomasville, and Mont
gomery. He will return to Pana
ma to become director of health
centers in that nation.
