July 4, 1967, before the Court
house door in Peach County, Geor
gia, during the legal hours of sale,
to the highest bidder for cash, the
following described property:
“All that tract or parcel of
land, together with the improve
ments thereon, situated, lying and
being in the State of Georgia,
County of Peach, City of Fort
Valley and being known and des
cribed as Lot Number 20, of Spil
lers Subdivision, Fort Valley, Geo
rgia, as per plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book No. 5, Page 3, Clerk’s
Office, Peach Superior Court, Ge
orgia, which plat is made a part
hereof by reference thereto.”
Sale will be made under power
of sale contained in a Bond for
Title dated August 17, 1963, from
Betty P. McGee to Bennie Benja
min, Jr., which Bond for Title ap
pears of record in the Office of
the Clerk of the Superior Court of
Peach County, Georgia, in Deed
Book R-l, page 609.
Default having occurred in the
payment of the indebtedness des
cribed in said Bond for Title and,
due to the foregoing, the power of
sale in said Bond for Title has be
come operative.

Notice is hereby given that un
dersigned Johnnie Vaughn Robin
son filed in the Superior Court of
Peach County, Georgia, on the 6th
day of May, 1967, her petition for
changing the name of her infant
son from that of Jimmie Jerome
Robinson to the new name desired
which is Jimmie Jerome Moore
and that any interested or affected
party has the right to appear with
in thirty days from the date of
filing above stated to appear in
said court and file objections.

Whereas, heretofore, on Septem
ber 27, 1966, James White did ex
ecute and deliver to C. D. Laven
der a certain Security Deed to the
following described property:
All that tract or parcel of land
situate and lying in the State of
Georgia, County of Peach and in
Oakland Heights Subdivision there
in. Said herein conveyed property
being known and describtd as Lots
numbered 49 and 50, Block 3, Oak
land Heights Subdivision, as shown
by a plat of said subdivision re
corded in Plat Book No. 1, page
238, Clerk’s Office, Peach Super
ior Court, Georgia, which recorded
plat is incorporated herein and
made a part hereof by reference
thereto.
Said property is described by
metes and courses as follows: —
STARTING at a point lying on the
West side of Calhoun Street, which
point is Nothwest, as measured a
long the West side of Calhoun
Street, 30 feet from the intersec
tion of the West side' of Calhoun
Street and the Northwest side of
Peachtree Street; thence South
west, on a line perpendicular to
Calhoun Street, 160 feet; thence
Northwest, on a line parallel to
Calhoun Street, 60 feet; thence
Northeast, on a line perpendicular
to Calhoun Street, 160 feet, thence
Southeast, aiong the West side of
Calhoun Street, 60 feet to the
point or place of beginning.
Located on said property is one
residential house and other im
provements.
Said Deed to Secure Debt given
to secure a note of even date
therewith for Six Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($6,-
750.00) Dollars, payable in mon
thly installments, all as shown of
record in Deed Book “X-l”, Page
599, Clerk’s Office, Peach County
Superior Court; and
Whereas, the said James White has
defaulted in making payments of
the monthly installments as they
matured and pursuant to the pro
visions of said note and deed a
foresaid C. D. Lavender has exer
cised his option and declared the
entire balance due and collectible;
Now, therefore, according to the
terms of said Deed to Secure Debt
and under and by virtue of the
power of sale contained therein
and the laws in such cases made
and provided, the undersigned will
expose for sale to the highest and
best bidder for cash the above de
scribed property, after proper ad
vertisement, on the first Tuesday
in July, 1967, between the legal
hours of' sale before the Court
House door in Peach County, Geor
gia. The proceeds from said sale
to be used, first to the payment
of said note, principal, interest and
expenses, and the balance, if any,
to be delivered to the said James
White.
