balance to the reduction of the
principal amount, interest being
computed on ffce unpaid principal.
Time was made the essence of the
contract, the note contained a pro
vision for the payment of 15 per
cent of the principal and interest
as attorney’s fees, if collected by
law or through an attorney at law.
Said note was endorsed to the
United States Finance Company,
Inc. without recourse by the said
Glynn Jones Enterprises, Inc. Said
United States Finance Company,
Inc. is now the holder in due cowr
rse of said note.
In order to secure the payment
of said note, Leary Mae Williams
and Eula Mae Williams executed
and delivered Glynn Jones Enter
prises, Inc. a deed to secure a debt
conveying the following described
land
All that lot or parcel of land
lying and being in the 6th
land lot 206 therein, more ful
ly described as fronting West
70 feet on fce paved highway
right of way leading from Fort
Valley to Byron and Macon,
and extending back in an
Easterly direction with even
width for a distance of 100 ft.
Said land is bounded on the
North by land belonging to
Lera Mae Williams as conve
yed to her by deed from P. P.
Newall of record in Book ‘W’
page 551, Clerk’s Office, Pea
ch Superior Court, on the East
and South by land of J. P.
Newall in Land Lot 206, and
on the West by the right of
way of said Highway.
All that tract or parcel of
land lying and being in the
Sixth District of Peach Cou
nty, Georgia and being a part
of lot of land No. 206 more
particularly described as fol

the East right of way of State
